Conduril honoured with Supplier of the Year Award 2023 in the Sustainability category by IBERDROLA
Iberdrola recognised Conduril as part of the Global Supplier of the Year 2023 Awards, in the Sustainability category, after successfully carrying out the construction of the Alto Tâmega dam.
Conduril was honoured for promoting local employment and for the quality of its work, as well as for its ability to meet the demanding deadlines imposed by Iberdrola to carry out its tasks. It was also valued for its high ESG score (environmental, social and corporate governance criteria), especially in the environmental area, in the light of Iberdrola's evaluation model, designed to assess the positioning and performance of suppliers.
In addition to other access and infrastructure projects such as a bridge or an underground hydraulic project, Conduril was responsible for building the dam and civil works for the A.H. Alto Tâmega hydroelectric plant, one of the hydraulic projects that make up the Tâmega Electro-Production System. The Alto Tâmega dam is a double-curved dome dam, 104.5 metres high and 335 metres long, making it the fourth highest dam in Portugal.
